EMDR Consultation for Therapists

Problem solving is what I do — because real clients don’t always follow the manual.

Now is a great time to advance your career

As an EMDRIA-Certified Therapist and Consultant-in-Training (CIT), I help EMDR practitioners strengthen their skills, integrate EMDR confidently into real-world cases, and move toward certification — with guidance that’s practical, ethical, and grounded in the realities of complex trauma work.

Philosophy

EMDR can’t be learned in isolation. You need space to process tough cases, ask the questions the manual doesn’t answer, and develop real clinical judgment.

Problem solving is at the heart of how I consult — stuck points, blocked processing, tricky presentations — we tackle them head-on, so you can keep your sessions moving forward.

My approach is collaborative and attuned to your goals, whether you’re working toward EMDRIA certification or just want to get better at using EMDR in diverse settings. We’ll focus on real case conceptualization, stuck points, fidelity to the model, and adapting EMDR responsibly with complex presentations.

Who This Is For

I provide EMDR consultation for:

  • EMDR-trained clinicians working toward EMDRIA certification

  • Certified EMDR therapists seeking ongoing support for advanced cases

  • Therapists wanting to strengthen integration of EMDR with their existing modalities

  • Clinicians needing required consultation hours for EMDRIA-approved training

How It Works

Individual Consultation:

  • 60-minute sessions, virtual only

  • Frequency tailored to your goals and EMDRIA requirements

  • Case review, stuck points, fidelity checks, documentation guidance

Group Consultation:

  • Small groups offered when available

  • Opportunity for peer learning and diverse case perspectives
Problem solving is what I do. In a group setting, we’ll get your sessions back on track by focusing on problem-solving the 8-phase protocol, navigating stuck points, and figuring out what to do when your client doesn’t do what you expect.

Fees:
My current consultation fee is [insert fee] per hour for individual sessions. Group rates vary by size and frequency.

EMDRIA Requirements:
I am an EMDRIA Consultant-in-Training under the mentorship of an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant. A total of 15 hours accrued with me count toward certification requirements, in accordance with EMDRIA’s guidelines.
